Syria: Supporting civil society and religious communities, and promoting inclusive peacebuilding and reconciliation.

Syria (approximately $2,850,000 available) DRL is requesting proposals for Syria programming which works to address the needs of Syrian civil society, promote grassroots peace building and reconciliation efforts, and support religious communities.

Successful proposals will include strong gender


components and amplify the perspectives and address the needs of youth, people with disabilities, women from all communities, and marginalized populations to promote a peaceful transition.

DRL is interested in program approaches which build relationships across Syria's diverse religious, geographical and ethnic communities.

Priority will be given to programs where a majority of programming activities take place inside Syria and have a limited footprint in neighboring countries.
