Notice of Intent to Award to New Mexico Department of Game and Fish

The Gila River Basin Native Fishes Conservation Program (GRBNFCP) was established to oversee the implementation of the terms and conditions of the Fish and Wildlife Service biological opinions and has identified specific tasks to fulfill the fish and wildlife management mandates under New Mexico State


authorities as well as assist the GRBNFCP in accomplishing its objectives.

By actively implementing species repatriations, threat removals, and other conservation activities, the public purpose is to conserve, improve, and enhance the status of native fishes within the Gila River basin portion of the State of New Mexico.
