Technical Assistance Services to Improve the Control and Prevention Efforts of Tuberculosis (TB) under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

Despite being preventable and treatable, tuberculosis (TB) is the leading infectious disease killer worldwide.

Building sustainable public health systems, including building local capacity and expertise to develop, plan, implement, and manage public health activities and programs, have proven


to be critical in the improvement and strengthening of public health programs and interventions.

The goal of this NOFO is to strengthen the effectiveness of national TB control and prevention programs in PEPFAR-supported countries and countries and settings with high TB burden by providing high-quality, targeted, and on-the-ground technical assistance and interventions in the areas of capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, data management, and outcome measurement.
