Spalding's Catchfly Data Collection in Montana

This funding opportunity is to complete required scientific monitoring to demonstrate population trends of Spaldingâ¿¿s catchfly in order to facilitate the decision process for the recovery of the plant.

In accordance with the Endangered Species Act of 1973, 16 U.S.C.

1531


et seq., as amended; Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965, 16 U.S.C.

4601, as amended.

This proposed project would complete three years of baseline monitoring of Spaldingâ¿¿s catchfly required by the Recovery Plan (USFWS 2007) and monitoring guidelines (USFWS 2012) at the Sullivan Gulch and Crosson Valley/Sullivan Hill KCAs.
