Endangered Species Conservation Recovery Implementation Funds

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE.

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to the Kentucky Natural Lands Trust for the purpose of surveying for all taxa of pollinators


in a number of different habitat types on the installation, giving special consideration to the rusty patched bumble bee and providing data on pollinator species and communities that form the prey base for three federally listed bats that occur on Fort Knox.

The 2nd project involves soil sampling and the establishment of seedling plots within xerohydric flatwood sites on Clarks River NWR.
