Nurse Anesthetist Traineeships (NAT)

Grants are awarded to eligible institutions for traineeships for licensed registered nurses enrolled as full-time students beyond the twelfth month of study in a Master's degree nurse anesthesia program.

The traineeship program is a formula program.

Applications are submitted via


a two-phase process.

-- Phase I is due in Grants.gov.

Applicants will receive instructions via email following submission of Phase I.

-- Phase II is due in the HRSA EHB approximately two weeks after Phase I has been submitted.

Eligible applicants are schools of nursing, academic health centers, and other private or public entities that provide registered nurses with full-time Master’s degree nurse anesthesia programs accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
