SCORE-2020-01 to invite a non-profit organization certified under § 501(c) - of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and have been providing technical assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs currently funded under the SCORE program

as authorized by the Small Business Act of 1953, USC § 637(b)(1).

Any organization which does not currently have a SCORE Cooperative Agreement with SBA’s Office of Entrepreneurship Education will automatically be considered ineligible and their application will not be evaluated.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Pursuant to 22 U.S.C.

§ 7105(b)(2) the following entities are eligible to apply: 1) States and territories 2) Units of local government, 3) Indian tribes 4) Nonprofit, nongovernmental victims’ service organizations (defined as an organization that is described in section 501(c)(3) of Title 26 and is exempt from taxation under 501(a) of such title).

All recipients and subrecipients must forgo any profit or management fee.

Nonprofit organizations that hold money in offshore accounts for the purpose of avoiding paying the tax described in 26 U.S.C.

§ 511(a) are not eligible to apply.

OVC may make more than one award to a single organization if proposed projects are in distinct geographic areas.

OVC welcomes applications under which two or more entities would carry out the federal award; however, only one entity may be the applicant.

Any others must be proposed subrecipients (“subgrantees").

Application and Submission Information.) The applicant must be the entity that would have primary responsibility for carrying out the award, including administering the funding and managing the entire project.
