Tribal Colleges Research Grants Program

This program was initiated in FY 2000 to assist 1994 Land-Grant Institutions (Tribal Colleges) to conduct agricultural research that addresses high priority concerns of tribal, national, or multistate significance.

Awards are to be made on the basis of a competitive process.

Grants shall


support investigative and analytical studies in the food and agricultural sciences.

Eligible institutions may propose projects in any discipline(s) of the food and agricultural sciences.

There are no limits on the specific subject matter/emphasis areas to be supported.
