Arkansas Receiving $2 Million State Grant

Governor Mike Beebe awarded the drought-stricken Arkansas with a $2 million state grant from the Governor's Disaster Fund.


The grant money will go toward ranchers who produce cattle, sheep, and goats. The program will be administered by the Arkansas Agriculture Department; they will be making payments on a per-head basis as well.

Rwanda as Social Entrepreneur Fund Beneficiary


The Republic of Rwanda has been picked as one of the six African countries as beneficiaries for a new fellowship fund program designed at supporting social entrepreneurs in tackling issues on food security.
