Ashland City Parks Pursue $500,000 State Grant

Ashland City is applying for up to $500,000 state Department of Transportation grant to connect three city parks.

If the city's application is approved, Ashland will build a half-mile greenway trail to connect Riverbluff Park, the John C. "Preacher" Poole Recreation Area and City Park (tennis courts). Officials will know if the city receives the grant comes summer.
