California Energy Commission Awards Grant to Biodiesel Industries of Ventura

Biodiesel Industries of Ventura has received a state grant from the California Energy Commission. The grant in the amount of $1.8 million will further clean energy technology in California and help the state reach its renewable energy goals.


The company will tap solar power and the byproducts of biodiesel production to provide power for a biodiesel plant at the U.S. Navy Base.
