Dorothy Saxton Youth Shelter's Future is Uncertain
Agency - Department of Health and Social ServicesAlaska Family Services, after operating Dorothy Saxton youth Shelter under a grant with the state, have made an appeal to the Department of Health and Social Services to award the grant for operations to another agency.
According to the president of Alaska Family Services Donn Bennice, the state is now investigating how the grant was awarded.
