Lawrence-Based Nonprofit Lands $400,000 State Grant
Lawrence-based nonprofit shelter, HomeFront, bags a $400,000 grant awarded by Department of Banking and Insurance acting Commissioner Ken Kobylowski.
The grant is part of the 11 Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing state and federal grants. It will serve homeless families and individuals with rental assistance to help them secure long-term housing or help those with late rental payments and are now facing eviction.
