Leesburg Airport Receives State Grant Up to $600,000

The Leesburg International Airport will land a state grant up to $600,000 to upgrade its airport security. The funds will be spent on fencing replacement to make it less "prison-like."


Part of the project is to tackle the pressing concerns of the Transportation Security Administration, Florida Department of Transportation, and the FAA in terms of security for both the general public and the aviation public.
