Loveland Acquires $1.08 Million State Grant to Meet New Water Quality Standards

Loveland Water and Power, a municipally-owned power, water and wastewater utility provider serving Loveland, Colorado, will be able to water quality and nutrient-control regulations through a state grant.


The grant is estimated at $1.08 million, which will fund upgrades to the state's domestic wastewater treatment plant. The new regulations set by Colorado's Water Quality Control Commissions apply to 10 percent of the state's municipal wastewater systems.
