Uses and Use Restrictions
This program is to provide environmental assistance to non-Federal interests in northeastern Minnesota to include the counties of Cook, Lake, St.
Louis, Koochiching, Itasca, Cass, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Carlton, Pine, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Isanti, Chisago, Beltrami, Hubbard, and Wadena.
Assistance may be in the form of design and construction assistance for water-related environmental infrastructure and resource protection and development projects in northeastern Minnesota, including projects for: wastewater treatment and related facilities, water supply related facilities, environmental restoration; and surface water resource protection and development.
Assistance may be provided only for projects that are publically owned and must enter into a written agreement to furnish its required cooperation for the project.
