Northeastern Minnesota Environmental Infrastructure (Section 569) - ARRA

To provide environmental assistance to non-Federal interests in northeastern Minnesota to include the counties of Cook, Lake, St.

Louis, Koochiching, Itasca, Cass, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Carlton, Pine, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Isanti, Chisago, Beltrami, Hubbard, and Wadena.

Assistance
may be in the form of design and construction assistance for water-related environmental infrastructure and resource protection and development projects in northeastern Minnesota, including projects for: wastewater treatment and related facilities, water supply related facilities, environmental restoration; and surface water resource protection and development.

Fiscal Year 2009: ARRA funded (FY09) northeastern Minnesota projects: Cook Water Supply Project, Breitung Water and Wastewater Systems Improvements project, Askov Wastewater Systems Improvements project, Park Rapids Water Supply project, Duluth Wastewwater CIPP and Interceptor Project, Midway Sewer Replacement project, Gary Pump Station Project, and the Bovey Capital Improvements project.

Fiscal Year 2010: ARRA funded (FY10) northeastern Minnesota projects: Bois Forte Water and Wastewater Systems Improvements project, Willow River Wastewater Treatment Systems Improvements Project, Hackensack Water Supply Improvements Project, Coleraine-Bovey-Taconite Wastewater Improvements Project, and the Garrison Capital Improvements project.
