The United States, through USAID, is the leading provider of bilateral development assistance to the Palestinians, supporting programs in the areas of democracy and governance; education; health and humanitarian assistance; private enterprise; and water resources and infrastructure.

USAID's West Bank and Gaza Mission is helping to address immediate, critical humanitarian and emergency response needs in Gaza through the provision of food, non-food items, shelter materials, and medical supplies.
