Armenia Specific Counter-Human Trafficking Projects

The Armenian government has made significant advances in countering human trafficking.

The goal of the INL Yerevan Program funded projects in this area are to further increase Armenian Government’s capacity to tackle this crime in all directions of prevention, prosecution, protection and partnership.

The program will help address existing gaps in the counter- TIP and related legislation, as well as implementation of the Armenian Government’s National Action Plan to Combat Trafficking 2013-2015, as well as address recommendations identified by State Department’s Trafficking in Persons Report and other international organizations actively involved in assessment and assistance in this field in Armenia.
