The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), through this competitive grant opportunity, is requesting applications from national nonprofit fire service organizations for Assistance for Local Emergency Response Training (ALERT) grant funds.

ALERT grant funding will be awarded to nonprofit organizations to train individuals with statutory responsibility to respond to accidents and incidents involving hazardous materials.
