ADDRESSING DRUG ABUSE AND ADDICTION IN KACHIN, MYANMAR

The objectives of 7200AA19APS00007-ADDENDUM-02-USAID-BURMA, ADDRESSING DRUG ABUSE AND ADDICTION IN KACHIN, MYANMAR, are to:
1) Promote successful drug rehabilitation through improved access to support services and vocational training; 2) Promote healthy behaviors among non-drug users that make them


less likely to start using drugs; and, 3) Promote access to health services for all drug users without discrimination.

All proposed activities must be implemented in Kachin State, Myanmar.

USAID/Burma encourages innovative and integrated approaches.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
This Addendum to APS 7200AA19APS00007 is open to local actors and welcomes concept papers responding to the addendum who bring an understanding of the development challenges facing their communities or who demonstrate a way to determine local priorities in their approach.

Respondent organizations should be local actors as described in Section 2 of the APS and cannot have an annual operating budget composed of more than 50 percent USAID funding in any of the past three fiscal years.
