USAID/Sudan seeks to develop innovative alliances that strengthen agricultural organizations in both the public and private sectors and including areas related to crop production, harvesting, processing and storage; irrigation utilization; livestock marketing and health; transportation of agricultural
goods; and marketing infrastructure.
Applicants will pay particular attention to the use and application of gender analysis for the implementation of all program components.
Alliances are also expected to consider other cross-cutting issues important to USAID, including poverty alleviation, conflict mitigation and support to youth, indigenous groups, women, and people with disabilities, as appropriate.
