Implementing Evidence-Based Health Promotion Programs for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Tourette Syndrome (TS)

CDC proposes to allocate funds to implement Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), Implementing Evidence-Based Health Promotion Programs for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Tourette Syndrome (TS).

This NOFO has three main objectives:To improve understanding of, management of,

and access to evidence-based services for people with TS or ADHD and their families and communities, equitably reaching those from socioeconomically/geographically/racially/ethnically diverse audiencesTo strengthen the capacity among healthcare professionals to appropriately diagnose and provide evidence-based treatments for persons with the conditionsTo strengthen the capacity among education professionals to implement evidence-based strategies that provide support and facilitate learning and academic success among children with the conditionsCooperative agreement partners will devise, disseminate, evaluate, and continuously improve public health communication and education tools and products to promote evidence-based information about symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD or TS for persons with the condition, their families, providers, and educators.

Racial, ethnic, geographic, and socioeconomic information will be collected, when possible, to evaluate and continuously improve communication channels in an effort for programs and products to equitably reach the most diverse audiences possible.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
The award ceiling for this NOFO is $850,000 for Component A and $1,100,000.00 for Component B.

CDC will consider any application requesting an award higher than this amount as nonresponsive, and it will receive no further review.Organizations may submit one application for Component A or Component B but cannot apply for both.
