highly vulnerable populations in prioritized health districts with a high HIV burden, prevalence, and incidence in Côte d’Ivoire.

This includes HIV sexual prevention services to priority and general populations (PP, GP); comprehensive HIV services for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and their families; HIV services for adolescent girls and young women (AGYW); prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) services for pregnant and breastfeeding women (PBFW) and HIV-exposed infants (HEI); efficient and innovative strategies for HIV testing (HTS) with linkage to treatment; strengthening health information systems; and strengthening health district and community systems for sustainability.

These programs include HTS; OVC; HIV prevention for PP (including PMTCT); and strategic information (SI) activities.

All activities should have strong community linkages to ensure the continuum of care and prevention services.

Expected outcomes include improved coverage and quality of HIV services aligned with the objectives and priorities of the UNAIDS Fast-Track strategy to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030; reduced morbidity and mortality among PP; reduced incidence of stigma, discrimination, and violence experienced by PP; and increased investment and accountability of health districts/regional regions in the HIV program.
