CDC announces a new five-year cooperative agreement for eligible American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) federally recognized Tribal Nations and/or regional tribally designated organizations.

This Program's purpose is to strengthen the quality, performance, and infrastructure of tribal

credit:


public health systems, including workforce, data and information systems, and programs and services.

This Program's ultimate outcome is to improve public health outcomes and health inequities in Indian country.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
To be eligible for funding, an applicant must be in one of the following:Federally recognized AI/AN tribal governments (i.e., Tribes) must provide an official letter from a currently elected tribal leader or a tribal resolution to demonstrate support from the TribeRegional AI/AN tribally designated organizations must demonstrate support in the form of tribal resolutions or letters of support from currently elected tribal leaders from at least half of the Tribes within the organization's service areaOfficial email correspondence from elected leaders will be accepted.

File should be named "Tribal Support" and uploaded as a PDF at www.grants.gov.Any application that does not include this documentation will be considered non-responsive and it will not receive further review.
