VISTA Logistical Support of Training

The focus of this competition is to fund organizations through a cooperative agreement to deliver full logistical support to AmeriCorps VISTA in conducting its Pre-Service Orientations, Supervisor Orientations, and Leader Orientations—about 40 events in total per year.

Logistical support requires

securing hotel/training space a government rates, offering a full-service travel agency, electronic fingerprinting of the approximate 6000 VISTA members, and onsite management.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
All but individuals As part of the requirements, the Notice of Funding states eligible applicants must be compliant with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2002 (Title III of the E-Government Act of 2002, Public Law 107-347), and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-130,Management of Federal Information Resources, Appendix III, Security of Federal Automated Information Resources, at the time of application submission.

Applicants are required to provide either: • A copy of an Authority to Operate (ATO) issued by a designated accreditation authority (typically a project sponsor or government agency) or • A copy of a Security Assessment Report [SAR] sign off sheet as evidence of compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2002) (Title III of the E-Government Act of 2002, Public Law 107-347), and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-130 (Management of Federal Information Resources), Appendix III ( Security of Federal Automated Information Resources).

Applications that do not meet all compliance criteria will not be considered.
