Pool Safely Grant Program

In accordance with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGB Act), the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is accepting applications for the Fiscal Year 2016 Pool Safely Grant Program (PSGP).

The purpose of this program is to prevent the drowning and drain entrapments

The PSGP seeks to provide state and local governments with assistance for prevention education and enforcement of pool safety requirements.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Applicants shall demonstrate to CPSC satisfaction that the applicant has a state or local law that meets the requirements specified in Sections 1405 and 1406 of the VGB Act (15 U.S.C.

Sections 8004 and 8005).
