The Defense Sciences Office (DSO) at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting innovative ideas to transform design, enabling designs that are unimaginable today.

DSO is specifically interested in fundamental research to develop new mathematics and algorithms that enable

Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in design.

Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice.
