Additional Information of Eligibility:
The provisions of 20 CFR Part 669.200(a), which implement WIA section 167(b), describe entities eligible to receive a grant as those that have: An understanding of the employment challenges facing eligible MSFWs and their dependents; A familiarity with the agricultural industry and the labor market needs of the geographic area to be served; A capacity to administer effectively a diversified program of workforce investment activities and related assistance for eligible MSFWs; and The capacity to work effectively as an American Job Center (AJC) (also known as a One-Stop Career Center) partner.

Entities such as state government agencies, state workforce investment boards, local government agencies, local workforce investment boards, faith-based and community-based organizations, institutions of higher learning, and other entities are examples of organizations that could be eligible to apply for NFJP grants.

Applicants do not need to be a current or prior NFJP grantee to establish eligibility to be awarded a grant under this solicitation.
