Fiscal Transparency Innovation Fund Projects

The Department of State’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs (EB) is pleased to announce a public competition for Fiscal Transparency Innovation Fund (FTIF) projects.

FTIF projects assist governments and civil society organizations in promoting budget transparency.

We seek proposals

credit:


that offer the greatest benefit in helping governments meet core fiscal transparency requirements.

These include the completeness, reliability, and public availability of budget information and public debt obligation data, as well as transparency in natural resource extraction licensing and tendering and procurement procedures.

Funds are available to support projects only in countries assessed in the Department’s annual Fiscal Transparency Report (FTR).
