The U. S. Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) announces an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for projects that promote inclusive citizen engagement, mutual respect, and nondiscrimination in Morocco.
Morocco has served as
a leader in the region in promoting interreligious discourse and ensuring the protection of religious freedom.
Programs should seek to build on these efforts and support the implementation of the freedom of thought and practice of ones religious affairs as enshrined in the Moroccan constitution.
DRL seeks to support programs that promote tolerance, mutual respect and nondiscrimination in Morocco by strengthening interfaith collaboration and civic engagement in national and local-level decision-making processes in Morocco.
