Fiscal Transparency Innovation Fund (FTIF)

Eligible organizations are invited to submit proposals for training programs and capacity-building engagement with foreign government stakeholders and civil society representatives to improve fiscal transparency of central government budgets.

Priority consideration will be given to projects assisting

credit:


Economic Support Fund (ESF)-eligible African countries that were assessed as non-transparent under the Department of State's Fiscal Transparency Review, followed by countries assessed as non-transparent in other geographical areas.

Consideration will also be given to projects in countries that, while deemed fiscally transparent, have continuing weaknesses in public financial management.

Projects may be regional to address similar needs in several countries.

The Department of State and USAID anticipate having approximately $ 1. 0- 5. 0 million in Economic Support Funds to award to one or more grants.
