Smart Growth Information Clearinghouse

Under this solicitation, EPA intends to fund further development and ongoing maintenance of a web-based national information clearinghouse focused on smart growth.

This clearinghouse will be designed to support communities by providing timely information that supports local decision-making that

credit:


delivers better environmental and public health outcomes from growth and development.

Smart growth approaches can contribute to lower air emissions, cleaner water, and better protection of open space and critical natural areas.

They can also help communities reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation and building sectors as well as help communities adapt to a changing climate
