Pesticides Health Care Initiative: National and Community Based Health Care Provider Training for Pesticide Illness

Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity, the EPA is soliciting proposals from eligible applicants through a cooperative agreement to improve health care providers’ (HCPs) ability to prevent, recognize, treat, manage, and report pesticide-related illness.

The EPA also aims to ensure that

HCPs consider the social determinants of health, cultural context, and vulnerabilities of patients at high risk of pesticide-related illness.

The EPA intends to award one cooperative agreement under this solicitation.

The total estimated funding expected to be available for awards under this competitive opportunity is up to $ 2. 1 million over five years.
