FY 2011 TRIBAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE PROJECT

This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits proposals from eligible entities for the Tribal Solid Waste Management Assistance Project.

Eligible entities may apply for funding under one of four categories:
(1) proposals to characterize/assess open dumps; (2) proposals to develop

credit:


integrated waste management (IWM) plans and tribal codes and regulations; (3) proposals to develop and implement alternative solid waste management activities/facilities (including equipment acquisition); and (4) proposals to develop and implement cleanup, closure, and post-closure programs for open dumps in Indian Country.

Each proposal must address only one of the four proposal categories described above.

Applicants interested in applying for more than one category may do so as long as each proposal is for only one category and each proposal must be separately submitted.
