THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE.
The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies have primary responsibility
for management of at-risk species including the Carolina pygmy sunfish, Tennessee pigtoe, Tennessee clubshell and alligator snapping turtle.
The existing information and technical expertise that the states have for these species makes them uniquely positioned to design and implement cooperative surveys for at-risk species that occur in multiple states.
This project leverages the information and expertise of the states to design and oversee coordinated surveys to inform Species Status Assessments for the aforementioned species.
