THIS IS NOTICE INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE.

This is a notice of intent to award a Grant between the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Louisiana Natural Heritage Program for to support conservation and recovery of the federally


threatened Louisiana pearlshell.

Specifically, this opportunity addresses the need for hydrologic monitoring and modeling to determine and address the level of threat to this species resulting from stream flow regimes within its current range.

This financial assistance opportunity is being issued through a grant award.

The statutory authority is the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C.

1531-1544, 87 Stat.

884).
