The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announces this grant opportunity based on authorities provided for in the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act:
A Legacy of Users (Public Law 109-59).
Sections 4101 and 4107 of SAFETEA-LU authorize the Motor Carrier Safety Grants funding.
Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP) High Priority grants are governed by 49 USC 31102-31104 and 49 CFR Part 35 0. The Agency will inform applicants if new authorizing legislation changes its grant programs for Fiscal Year 201 2.
