The purpose of this Notice is to announce the U. S. Government’s intent to launch a competition for the seventh Institute for Manufacturing Innovation (IMI) and the fifth to be led by DOD.

Flexible hybrid electronics are enabled through innovative manufacturing processes and fabrication that preserve the full operation of traditional electronic devices on flexible, stretchable and conformal circuit boards that can be attached to curved, irregular and often stretched objects.
