FY 2010 TI: Homeless Families Demonstration Small Grant Research Program

The purpose of this Notice is to notify applicants that had submitted applications for funding under HUD�s funding opportunity Notice of Public Interest (NOPI) for Fiscal Year 2010 Transformation Initiative:
Homeless Families Demonstration Small Grant Research Program (FR-5415-N-23) that their

credit:


preliminary application has been accepted for further consideration and HUD is asking for a full application as required under that NOFA.

The purpose of this NOPI is to enhance the demonstration project conducted by the Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) that focuses on Homeless Families by providing a vehicle for conducting a number of small research projects aimed at collecting additional/supplemental information and analyses.

Selected applicants are eligible to submit a full application based on their preliminary application.

The recidivism rate significantly dropped from 60-plus percent to under 20 percent, with more than a thousand men over a span of  eight years.
