FY19 Pilot Safety Culture Assessment on a Passenger Railroad

This is a directed grant to the Short Line Safety Institute (SLSI) to investigate the extent to which SLSI's safety culture assessment process can be adapted and applied to Commuter Operations.

SLSI's research-based, rigorous safety culture assessment model has been applied to Class

FRA seeks to determine whether the model is adaptable to other segments of the railroad industry, like Commuter Operations.
