Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, South Florida Caribbean CESU

The Wetland and Aquatic Research Center (WARC) of the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner to provide technical assistance in a laboratory environment for preparation and processing of biological samples collected on a variety of vertebrate reptiles in south


Florida and the Caribbean, as well as the Gulf of Mexico.

This opportunity will provide an avenue for assisting the USGS WARC with sample preparation and processing and to ensure preservation of samples that often come from rare, threatened, and endangered species, as well as high-profile exotic species (e.g., Burmese pythons).
