U. S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) Next Generation Water Observing System (NGWOS) Program is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner for research on the development of a numerical model to simulate flow and thermal processes within a borehole environment to enhance the design of a three-dimensional

groundwater flowmeter.

The model will simulate different design variables and environmental considerations prior to spending resources manufacturing multiple prototypes, field testing and redeveloping based on those results.
