Cooperative Agreement for affiliated Partner with Piedmont-South Atlantic Coast Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU)

The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research to leverage expertise with climate model downscaling.

This opportunity will focus on improving the utility of regional climate models with an emphasis on risk-relevant climate change information for impacts


on human health and ecosystems within the US Caribbean and Southeast US.

The recipient will engage decisionmakers in the Southeast US and Caribbean who work on ecology and human health to elicit define useful climate metrics to assist with climate adaptation.

The recipient will produce dynamically downscaled climate data to create stakeholder driven climate diagnostics.

The team will also investigate sources of uncertainty by comparing climate projections across different downscaled climate products
