American Indians into Psychology

The purpose of this IHS cooperative agreement is to augment the number of Clinical Psychologists who deliver health care services to AI/AN communities.

The primary objectives of this cooperative agreement grant award are to:
(1) Recruit and train individuals to be Clinical Psychologists;

and (2) Provide scholarships to individuals enrolled in schools of clinical psychology to pay tuition, books, fees, and stipends for living expenses.

Public and nonprofit private colleges and universities that offer a Ph.D.

in clinical programs accredited by the American Psychological Association will be eligible to apply for a grant under this announcement.

However, only one grant will be awarded and funded to a college or university per funding cycle.
