Assistance for Needy Families’ (TANF) Policy Academy for Innovative Employment Strategies (PAIES) project.
The PAIES is a series of interactive engagement and technical assistance activities designed to help state TANF programs develop, plan, and implement comprehensive, innovative approaches to increase employment outcomes for TANF participants.
Cooperative agreements under this Funding Opportunity Announcement will work closely with ACF program, and research and evaluation staff, the local scholar/evaluator, and other collaborative partners to transition from traditional models of case management to coaching models to improve TANF participants’ employment outcomes.
The PAIES work performed under the cooperative agreements will inform the TANF field by documenting and disseminating emerging and promising strategies to increase TANF participants’ employment outcomes.
Cooperative Agreements awarded to state TANF programs under this FOA provide 18 months of funding to participate in the PAIES subject to the availability of funds.
