Region XII Migrant and Seasonal Worker Collaboration Office

Through this cooperative agreement, the Office of Head Start (OHS) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) will make available the funds to enhance coordination and collaboration between the Office of Head Start (OHS) Region XII Office, the OHS Training and Technical Assistance system,

Head Start recipients, other providers of early care and education, and stakeholders that provide services related to the development and learning of low-income migrant and seasonal worker children and families.

The Collaboration office will promote partnerships with child care that emphasize the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Initiatives; collect data regarding early childhood programs and child outcomes; support the expansion and access of high quality workforce and career development opportunities for staff; work with school systems to ensure continuity between Head Start and school system goals; and, support other regional office priorities such as family and community partnerships; and, health, mental health, and oral health.
