4. 2. 8 Academic Institution Acknowledgement Letter It is necessary for the President, Vice-President, Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, or Provost at the University to acknowledge in a signed letter on official letterhead that they are the responsible official of the academic institution, authorized


to approve the contractual relationship in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the academic institution.

The letter must also state that the signatory further acknowledges that he/she is aware of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s proposed contractual relationship with the academic institution through BAA HM1582-10-BAA-0002 and such relationship is hereby approved by the undersigned individual, serving as the President, Vice-President, Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, or Provost of the institution.

This letter must be submitted as part of the cost proposal submitted through Grants.gov and received by NGA in order for a final award decision to be made.
