Additional Information of Eligibility:
• Be a registered U. S. non-profit organization, 501 (c) (3) including civil society organizations; foreign NGO, religious association, or educational institution based or working in Guatemala.

Applicants must be registered in-country or submit proof that they are seeking registration in Guatemala at the time of proposal submission; • Due to the community-oriented focus of this request for proposals, organizations based outside of Guatemala are required to identify and work with an implementing partner based in Guatemala to ensure local ‘buy-in’ and sustainability.

• Have demonstrated experience implementing victims services or justice sector reform projects in Central America, preferably with the targeted communities identified in the proposal.

• Have demonstrated experience working with youth, women, and community leaders to implement one or more of the following: youth leadership training, civic education programs, community outreach programs, capacity building, media, social responsibility programs, community police programs.

• Have existing capacity or ability to develop active partnerships with organizations in Guatemala especially in victim’s services or justice sector reform.
