INL Justice Criminal Attorney Training Project

INL Justice Macedonia plans to award a grant to a non-governmental organization (NGO) that will provide targeted training to Macedonian defense lawyers on the new criminal procedure code (CPC) and basic training on the recently adopted sentencing law (December 2014).

The objectives are to improve

the knowledge of the lawyers about these laws, and consequently improve the equality of arms and quality of legal representation of citizens under the new system.

This grant is intended as a 12 month project.
