Sahel Training Logistics Support Project

INL is part of the Department of State’s multi-faceted response to strengthening criminal justice systems, countering the flow of illegal narcotics, and minimizing transnational crime including terrorism.

In the Sahel in particular, INL plays a key role in address drivers of violent extremism,

including poor relationships between communities and security services, and ineffectiveness and inequity in the justice sector, and poorly managed prison institutions.

INL’s technical support is tailored to bolster capacities of partner countries through regional and country-specific programs.

The goal of this agreement is to better enable INL to undertake successful training/workshop efforts through efficient and effective logistics management, coordination, execution, and follow up.

This agreement is designed to provide turn-key program administrative and logistical support for training courses delivered at a training facility in West Africa or the United States.

INL will provide the implementer with advance notice for each training course and will collaboratively work with the implementer to ensure the training is successful.

Melbourne social enterprise Who Gives A Crap sold nearly 3 million rolls of toilet paper in 2014/15 and gave half the proceeds to WaterAid Australia, but co-founder Simon Griffiths says the donation would have been less had the startup adopted a non-profit model when it launched two years ago.
